Controversies of Mink Brar

In 2011, Mink Brar allegedly appeared in a Hollywood adult film titled Desert Queen. The posters of the film, featuring her, were put up at various locations in Los Angeles. However, Mink denied having acted in any such project. She said in an interview, "I was shocked. I cried a lot. Though the poster has my photo, I am not in the film. I just want to ask all those who have done this, do they have a proof that it's me?"   Yet again in 2011, she made headlines when she spotted actress Antra Mali's father- Jagdish Mali in an unkempt condition among the beggars when she along with his brother was distributing blankets to homeless people in Versova, Mumbai. But Jagdish's family and friends said that his condition was absolutely fine, though he was diabetic, and that she was manipulating this issue to the press to get publicity.   However, Mink was proved right when, in 2013, a reputed newspaper covered a story of Jagdish Mali being rescued from the streets in Versova in a decrepit condition. Left with no choice whatsoever, Jagdish's family accepted the truth about his mental illness.
