Controversies of Shweta Menon

In 2004, a case filed against her for insulting the National flag during a fashion show which was organized by the National Institute of Fashion Design. She was alleged to have walked the ramp by wrapping her in the flag.   In 2011, she had registered a complaint against the director of Kunnath Pharmaceuticals 'K. C. Abraham' for using her photographs to promote their Ayurvedic aphrodisiac Musli Power Extra without her permission.   In 2012, Shweta was criticised by Kerala Legislative Assembly Speaker 'G. Karthikeyan' for allowing her delivery to be recorded on camera for the Malayalam film 'Kalimannu.' Kerala Film Exhibitors' Federation also condemned the film and said that they would boycott the film if the director 'Blessy' includes the delivery scene.   In 2013, she had lodged an FIR against N. Peethambara Kurup by alleging that he had molested her during the President's Trophy Boat Race. She later withdrew the complaint after Kurup made an apology to her.  

Information about Shweta Menon

Shweta Menon was born in a Malayali family.  She is the cousin of famous Malayalam actor, Anoop Menon.  In 2015, she took part in another reality TV show 'Star Challenge' that was aired on Flowers TV.  She worked in different languages like Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada.  Shweta started her acting career in 1991 by playing the role of Catherine in the Malayalam film 'Anaswaram.'  She also judged some famous Malayalam reality TV shows like 'Comedy Stars Season 2' (2015), 'Katturumbu' (2016-2017), 'Komedy Circus' (2017), 'Tharodayam New Face Hunt' (2017), 'Laughing Villa Season 2' (2017), and 'Super Jodi' (2018).  Apart from being a great actress, Shweta hosted several Malayalam TV shows like 'Star Wars' (2007), 'Honeymoon Travels' (2009), 'Veruthe Alla Bharya' (2011-2012), 'Veruthe Alla Bharya Season 2' (2012), and 'Veruthe Alla Bharya Season 3' (2015).  She is the first Malayalam TV anchor to host reality TV shows.  She also made her appearance as a contestant along with her father in the game reality show 'Deal Or No Deal' (2010).  Shweta appeared on the cover of various magazines like 'Inspire,' 'Flash Movies,' etc.  Does Shweta Menon smoke?: No  Shweta Menon walked the ramp at various fashion shows. She also directed several shows with leading models.  In 2018, she participated in the controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 1.'
