Prannoy Roy's house and his News Channel premises got raided in 2017 by CBI for the bank fraud. His company took out a loan of Rs 366 crore from ICICI bank allegedly on personal guarantees and settled for a repayment a year later that was Rs 50 crore less than the loaned amount, CBI sources said.
