Once, Alka Yagnik accused Anuradha Paudwal of stealing her songs and dubbing them in her own voice.   She attracted controversies when she challenged the legendary Playback Singer Lata Mangeshkar and claimed to have recorded the maximum number of songs in a single day. She also accused the Mangeshkar Sisters of their monopoly in the film industry.
