Veena Malik and her husband Asad Bashir Khan have been sentenced to 26 years in jail, for allegedly airing a program, the content of which had hurt religious sentiments of the Islamic people. According to reports, a religious song that was played in the background at the ceremony was hurtful to Islamic sentiments.
However, they both were later released on bail.
