Jamiruddin Ansari aka Jumbo, one of the two criminals arrested in the underworld-guthka nexus case, reportedly told the police in 2005 that Nagma was Dawood Abrahim's brother Anees Ibrahim's mistress. Ansari added that he once delivered a packet containing INR 10 lakh to Nagma's house as a 'Hawala Transaction'.
In March 2007, Nagma lodged an F.I.R with the police, alleging that a group of persons had threatened her of catastrophic consequences if she refused to work with them or go out with them on a date.
